Week 10: Dashboard – Our Time Data

Week 8: Our Time Exercise: Make A Story

This week, we progressed with our stories using the Our Time data compiled by our tutor, Sarah Waterson. Once we had decided on a narrative, we would then use this data to create appropriate graphs in Tableau.

This week, the lecture pod focuses on artist Natalie Miebach who takes weather data from massive storms and turns it into complex sculptures that embody the forces of nature and time. These sculptures then become musical scores for a string quartet to play.

Week 6: Working with Gantt Charts

Progressing with the unit, we have successfully put together a MyTime spreadsheet detailing what each student has accomplished over a 7 day period. This was done through carefully considered categories and activities to ensure the most accurate data for each student. In this weeks class, we worked on this data to create a Gantt chart.
